Rich & Savory Nuts Recipe

The following is a step-by-step recipe for the original Toe Doc Rich & Savory Nuts. These nuts are made with cacao, red chile (local New Mexico), and cinnamon. What makes them even more special is that they are sugar free. Enjoy.

  • Crack 1 egg into large mixing bowl

  • Add 3 cups pecans & 1 cup cashews

  • Mix with spatula until nuts coated with egg

  • In a separate (small) bowl add the following:

  • 0.5 cup erythritol

  • 0.5 tbsp salt

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp red chile powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Mix together

  • Add seasoning to nuts and mix until all nuts are coated

  • Place in single layer on baking sheet lined with parchment paper

  • Bake in oven at 300F for 20 minutes

  • Remove and toss/flip nuts over with spatula

  • Bake for another 20 minutes at 250F

  • Let sit on counter and cool

  • Enjoy
